Getting there:
The best way to reach Vejer is via the airports of Jerez (45 minutes), Seville (1.5 hours) and Malaga (2.5 hours). Basically, a rental car is advisable for arrival and departure as well as for discovery tours (Spanish police are very strict when it comes to speed and alcohol!).
For loading and unloading you can drive up directly by car. It is important to use the entrance to the town via "Barca de Vejer". You will find a public, free parking lot if you drive down "La Merced" to the end and then turn right, and then follow the ring road (Cicumvalación) for aprox. 200 m.
You can also travel by bus. The companies Comes and Alsa connect Vejer with the airports of Jerez and Seville. Attention! When searching, also enter "La Barca". This is the crossroads in the valley of Vejer. Most buses stop down in "La Barca". From here, a cab to Casa Pétalos costs approx. 5 euros. If you would like to book a cab (also for transfers or excursions), please contact José Castrillón (+34 600 511 301).
